Brown Uniforms

Post by svillefalcon »

Does anyone know if there are plans to wear the brown unis this year because i saw on bgsu.edu that they were wearing them when they reported to camp also in a picture withe the falcons at teh sebo center. It looks to me that the Brown jerseys werent a one time thing. I would like to see them where those jerseys more often, personally. Can anyone give me an inside scoop as to whats going on with the unis?

I personally am not sure that this is guaranteed, but Coach Brandon implied as much at the reception at Browns Stadium earlier this year.

I too would like to see brown become a regular thing. It will be interesting to see what happens this season.

IMO...I think the browns uni's need some sort of different look or at least come up with an ALTERNATE Uniform with the Browns. I know the Browns fans will like it since they got they're look from US!

I'm glad that they are going to be worn against Wiscy, and I personally love them more than any other college football jersey. However with that being said, I would like to see them be kept as an alternate jersey that we only wear lets say once a season at the most! Kind of like ND does with the wicked cool green jerseys. Part of what makes them so cool is that they dont wear them every game so it makes it kind of special! Anyway that is just my opinion on the matter, and would like to see the 2003 jerseys be worn the most frequently, with the combos of Orange on Orange, Orange on White at home, and White on Orange and White on White on the road!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

From what I understand, the Kansas City Chiefs have stopped in Cleveland now and again without fans having seizures.

Why is it that I am not only surrounded by KC Chiefs crap with my roommates here in KS, but now I log onto AZZ for the first time in a while and I read about them here too!!!

Just say no!

I personally hate the brown unis. If they were designed like the home or away unis then they wouldn't be bad, but they aren't. I know that they are designed as a throwback but they just don't go with the pants. Personally, I am a big fan of the all out orange look! That just screams falcon power to me. I just can't get into the brown

I think the same thing. I like the brown jersey, I just don't like them with the current orange pants. I think new pants should be designed for the brown jersey. I could be wrong but the brown on the orange pants doesn't seem to match the jersey. The Wedge on the pants doesn't match the look of the jersey either.

So make some new pants for the Brown, and add some oragne to it.

Oh, I don't know. Since our colors are orange AND BROWN, I like brown tops and orange bottoms.

The all orange was getting a tad old.

I like all the different variations of our unis. I think those brown throwbacks are sweet.

I don't care what unis are worn on the field....as long as the FALCONS win.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the national audience that saw us lose to Toledo thought our colors were black and orange. No point in wearing the brown jerseys at night IMO.

Maybe the lighting will be better in Cleveland.

And yes, it would be cool if they actually had pants that were designed to go with those brown jerseys. The once a year idea has merit also.
