Okay, that was probably paraphrased a bit, but it was the tone I got from it... :-D I can't wait to see what Bird and Alonso's feet bring to the table this fall.
Wow, thats certianly music to my ears! :D

The thought of competent special teams units is making me drool. I can't wait to see these kids in action.

He mentioned that the new freshman wide receivers are very good and will definately see the field this year.

He also stated that Freddie Barnes is looking good.

They have a 120 play scrimmage today starting around 3:30pm, if anyone wanted to stop by. I guess they will go until 6:00pm.

That's about it.
Thanks much for the updates. I'm glad to hear the new wide receivers are doing well and look good. That’s obviously one of our positions that were hit pretty hard with losses of talent from last season and we'll need some very good contributors there. I'm also glad to hear Freddie is looking good too. This is certainly a chance for him to shine and show what he can do, and the experience is invaluable for him. As for Corey, I’m sure it was mentioned elsewhere, but how is he feeling and doing? I know he battled through some injuries last year, is he 100 percent heading into camp?

That is also good news. After our kicking woes last year, getting someone just to consistently make extra points would be "f*cking amazing!" I never thought extra points, as well as field goal attempts and punts could be so nerve wrecking. :smt119

Just talked to Corey as they were heading to lunch today. He said they had a 110 play scrimmage yesterday. They concentrated on running plays, so that was the majority of the offense. He had 4-5 catches. He thought maybe they were trying to work the defense on run defense the most.

Did anyone get out to see it?

THANK YOU for all the updates! Speaking for myself, I really appreciate it!

I am jacked about these kickers and hearing that the Frosh WR's and Barnes look good is nice to hear.

F all the predictions out there....BG can win the East, and, IMO, will. Akron is gonna get everybody's best shot this yr. They won't be able to sneak up on anyone in '06. Miami will always be a tough game but I think we can hold serve at home this year.

531+ hours to go....

GO FALCONS!!

nothing would be better for my last semester than to beat toledo, win the east, win the macc game and win a bowl game, i really could care less if we are ranked, i just want those things to happen.

It's nice to hear that the kickers, receivers and QB are looking good, but bottom line is that if we don't step it up BIG TIME on D we are in for a long long year!
