He is transfering from OSU. It might be nice to add him. He was to be their starting tE. It would add another dimension to this offense next year. He was kicked off for breaking team rules. Not an ideal guy to bring in but to get someone of his talent we need to take on the baggage.

He is a fourth year junior, I guess we could get him for a year or OSU may let him out due to this fiasco.

I understand people hate to add these type of guys. Talent for a year or two sounds good to me.

He should go to Youngstown State. He can play right away and the folks around there are fairly amoral.

Why is it everytime an OSU guy leaves everyone thinks he should transfer to BG. Erik Haw, Marcel Frost, etc.

It's the Stockholm Syndrome....the rest of the public institutions in the state have been held captive by the transfer of wealth from all of Ohio to the cow college (not to mention the local media obsession with the goings on in CTown) that some of our more impressionable members have begun to identify with their captors.

OSU gets a much higher level of players then we do. If we can add that talent to our team I have no problem with doing so. I posted it about Erik Haw and I posted it about Frost. IF a OSU player is transferring BG (atleast on the field) would be better by adding him. No question. For us to receive a player who OSU even considers they have to have some sort of problem (qualifying, character, injury)....the best time to get them may be after they leave, a wake up call for them, and we get a superb athlete and football player. Please spare me the we can't take a guy with a potential problem when we won't be watching our starting WB in game one for drug reasons.....BG players are not perfect.

Now wait a second. This kid was kicked off of TOAMU squad for violating team rules.

Couple of observations:

*He must have repeated violating a minor rule (he obviously didn't learn his lesson).

OR

*He committed a serious infraction.

In either case, I don't want him UNLESS he was serious about cleaning up his act, enrolls in classes, and walks-on. No scholly.

I am not going to jump on the "let's bring this guy to BG" bandwagon, but it is curious as to what he did to get kicked off the team. OSU is saying nothing other than the AD hinted he may transfer. That tells me it had nothing to do with the law or an NCAA violation, which is a good thing, so my guess is it is an attitude or work ethic problem that Tressel has warned him about. Major college football programs don't suspend starters for no reason or for a first offense. Sounds like this guy might need a change of scenery. It would be smart for him to try and leave now and enroll at a 1-AA school or something. Wouldn't he be allowed to play this year if he did that?

We don't want this kid. It has to be pretty serious if osu is suspending him for the season. Usually they look the other way.

There's been speculation that this is for multiple weed offenses. Some say it was a third strike and you're out type of deal.

If that is the case, shouldn't the police be involved?
