Pitt vs. Arizona

First series: Not too good...three and out! He doesn't look to comfortable under center.

in comparison to gradkowski...i think he had a much simpler playbook to work with than Omar...there is no way that bruce is better than Omar.

He's lookin like crap so far. Finally one nice pass and a 1st down, lets see how he does here with 2mins left. Dont forget that Boyd played HORRIBLE in my opinion, so hes still got a shot at 3rd QB.

No doubt. BG never threw a pass longer than 10 yards...some things never change. If TB keeps their plays that simple BG will be able to succeed.

I'm so pumped. I watched that entire game and I can honestly say that Jacobs totally outplayed Boyd, even if I wasnt biased I would still think that. Boyd was only 50% and 2 INTs, one that was called back for something that had nothing to do with the play, and Omar looked like the Omar we all know and love on that 2nd drive! He came out nervous, but then like turning on a switch he went back to himself and played great there at the end. I'm very proud of him and cant wait til my dad gets home to watch the tape. Anyone know when the Steelers play again?

Bruce was better than Omar last year in college, and could be better now. Omar has a higher upside and more potential, because he's got a prototype NFL body & arm, but that doesn't mean he's better right now. Gradkowski strikes me as one of those guys that will never actually start in the NFL, but is smart enough to be a clipboard holder for 5+ years.

5+ years equals pension I think. Happy for all MAC signal callers in the big show at this point but my neighbors knew something was going on when Jacobs dropped that pass in. Awesome catch also. Wow....hope Cowher doesn't dismiss what Jacobs did on his second drive this afternoon.

I didn't see anything Boyd did but after the game they said he needed to work on his touch. I don't know anything about Boyd but there is so much upside to Jacobs I hope that pulls him through....

The Steelers fans seem to be won over by Omar's showing, he was much better than Boyd in all facets of the game. His first series was all jitters and nerves, he looked like the old Omar 2nd time around and got the Steelers down the field, I think for a total of like 67 yards in 7 plays...very impressive. I don't think Cowher can ignore what he was shown, especially since Omar gave them a chance to get the ball back on an onside kick and drive to tie the game.

As for playing calling, Omar hit all his targets on the second drive, going 4-4 for 59 yards. He will learn with time, and now he has the confidence.
