We will return 16 starters next year

I hate to look too far ahead, but I just noticed that we will return 16 starters next season if the depth chart remains the same.

On Offense....

Ruben Ruiz who should be easily replaceable...
John Lanning and Derrick Markay...both solid guards but Watson shopuld be able to start at one with a seamless transition.

On D we will lose 3 of our top 4 players White, Parks and Williams. Return 8 others. Speed, speed and more speed.

Not to mention the return of our LS, K and P for several years to come!

That's great. 16 starters would make BG a favorite for the MAC title.

But I'm a lot more interested in how 2006 will unfold.

That just shows how young of a team we are going into this year. I think the MAC championship is in reach this year, but look out for next season as well!
