BGSU Merchandise Update

Post by RangerRocket »

OK, here's what I got done this week.

The BG putters are in (they will be $40 + S&H + tax if you are an Ohio resident - normally retail for $69.95). We have 38 putters, once they are gone that's it.

I have a solution in place for shipping the putters and the nylon tailgating chairs ($30 + S&H + tax if you are an Ohio resident). Next, need to determine weight for shipping those items.

(For FalconFreak) I've had a protoytpe custom box made for the Director's chairs ($50 + S&H + tax if you are an Ohio resident). With box the chair weighs 9 lbs. I'm working on a quote for getting the boxes for a reasonable price/quantity. I checked at both the Post Office and UPS on Friday. Shipping will be in the range of $9 - $14 based on the delivery zip code, plus whatever the cost turns out to be for the custom box.

We also picked up two BGSU tailgating canopy's (local pickup/delivery only because of size/weight). They are $225. We can get more.

We still are offering the custom brown BGSU jerseys. I'm also supposed to be looking at what our web designer has done for the www.thefalconstore.com website soon. I'll keep posting updates and I'll be in contact with those who have PM'ed me with requests for specific items.

Please keep in mind that BGSU has already received royalties for everything we have purchased. I guess from my perspective this is akin to aiding and abetting the enemy. However, the more you buy and support us, the more BGSU products we will be able to offer.

Can stuff be picked up from you in person, to save shipping and handling costs? (Freak...I'm thinking I can get your order and give it to you at one of the home games.)
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

FF90, you can PM me with the CC info if you are comfortable with that. By the way, I ordered 50 custom boxes to ship them in today. Costs for the boxes is $4.83 ea. For anyone wanting me to ship these to you figure $50 for the chair + approx $15 for S&H (+ $3.38 Ohio sales tax if you are an Ohio resident).

I can arrange to meet FF to pick it up locally (I live in Toledo off of Heatherdowns between Bryne and Eastgate. I'm on the South side of Heatherdowns, near the South Toledo Golf Course (where the Golf Dome is).

If you get it picked up by FF cost will be $50 + $3.38 Ohio sales tax (total $53.38).

I'm still working on a S&H cost for the BGSU putters and nylon tailgating chairs.

RR,

This is Big Bird's (Sean Ellis') Uncle. How much are the Jerseys and are they personalized? There are several of us down here in Florida interested in Jerseys if we can get them with Sean's number and name.

Thanks

Thanks again, RR! As long as my CC info is used only for the chair and not a donation to the Rocket Club! Just havin' fun. I'll get that info to you in the next day or so. For a Rocket, you ain't half bad.

Hey RangerRocket-

As long as you have Mike's credit card, then go ahead and put me down for that chair as well. He never bought me a Christmas present last year. Come to think of it he didn't buy me a birthday present either so better add one of those tailgate tents too...... :supz:

Is there something wrong with the site? All I get is a page saying it is under construction.

Consider it as good as done. Between your items, and the spinners for the Jambulance, it will certainly be a good Christmas this year at least....... ;-)

Yes, the site isn't up yet. For the time being we are doing everything via AZZ, PMs, email and telephone calls. Hang in there, I'm paying good money to my web designer to get the site up and running.

(And btw, I will be PM-ing you about picking up Freak's chair!)

Thanks for the info. Where can I get information and pictures of what is available? It's never to early to start Christmas shopping... :D
