I would hope they put the rule in play...would drop the teams that need to be droped and short of a playoff system would cut D1 in to two seperate confernces.
they could j¨st make the BCs attendace rulle 30k avg and that would be the end of it.

My dad's been saying for years how the non BCS leagues should break off from 1-A. That way leagues like the MAC could form their own level and set up a playoff system (like every other college division except 1-A) and have a legit chance to play for a national title. He always brings up Mt. Union. "They seem to have quite a bit of fun every year".

A friend of mine (A fellow Miami Grad and former football player) and I had an interesting discussion with someone in the know at Miami a few weeks ago. This person alluded to some conference changes (and I am not talking about Temple).

Yep. I've had similar discussions. The next few years will likely see the MAC re-shaped.

This makes the improvements to facilites by BG and Miami more important and possibly a driving force. The SEBO did not need to be at the stadium, but it is...... and Miami has renovated their stadium and is now getting an indoor pratice facility, also located at the stadium.

The next few years will be telling and I don't see BG being left behind. And notice what teams are getting most of the ESPN games. BG, Miami, NIU, Toledo....... is it hopeful thinking????
