I love those of you around who dig BG and OSU, but I am continually blown away by the arrogance and ignorance of Buckeye fans. Its astounding, really.
Followed him over here?

Heeheh.. look at my register date, sparky. I was a member (though not particularly active) well before Mr. Psychologist started his expierement.

Where have I been arrogant or ignorant. Please.. do tell.
I'll castrate myself with a powersander before I ever root for Michigan.

The point of this thread is that the OSU forum being alluded to is nuts because no idea outside of "OSU is great" is allowed. Everybody over there agrees and fondles everyone else and it's sickening. This was used to show how cool this site is because we have lots of differents folks with lots of different ideas and opinions that usually mesh pretty well.

In response to this, the OSU faithful start arguing a bunch of other different topics. And you guys wonder why the OSU threads always devolve into pissing matches.
At the end of the day, I don't know why anyone would care less, though,.

You obviously do.

And no, I haven't read those threads. I didn't say I agreed with the original point -- I just stated it.

So If you register and pick your favorite player for your name, you can't question him then. Ted Ginn is my favorite OSU player. He is not a great wide receiver. I posted on the thread that was discussing Anthony Gonzalez. I stated that Anthony Gonzalez was OSU's best pass receiver. A better RECEIVER than Ted Ginn.

That is exactly the point we were making. There are grey areas here and none in Buckeyeland. None. I was kicked off for not saying that Ted Ginn was the best receiver ont he Buckeyes. Thats hilarious.
Didn't you just say Troy Smith was your favorite buckeye? Maybe I just read you wrong.

And, yes, you can question Ginn's WR capabilities... But, you should let yourself build a bit of a non toxic reputation before you come out guns ablazin... and lets not forget, the cats out of the bag.. you freely admitted you were doing some little expierement, so I don't know why you're defending your actions now as if you were some sort of innocent.
When did I say I was doing an experiment? I said I had an experience. I went their to talk Buckeye football. And was routed from the board.

I'm just along for the ride, my man. Excuse the hell out of me for enjoying being a fan of the mythical top dog. It's not an easy thing to run the table, much less from Number 1, and the chances are high OSU won't do it this year... not because they CANT, but because in the history of College Football it rarely happens.

Not allowed? Have you read the Texas thread? Have you read the NIU thread?

Look, buckeye planet is a buckeye site... plain and simple.. it's populated primarily with Buckeye fans... of coruse there is going to be a lot of agreeing with eachother. And, no one is saying you've gotta sign up there and enjoy yourself. I don't get what the big deal is.. if you don't like the way our board conducts our business, go to a different board.

We're not trying to make sure every other team's fan site thinks we are something special. We, like you do here, come to talk about the stuff we like to talk about. Make a big deal of it if you wish.. I suppose if I jung out on this board long enough, I could find out some similarities to the same things you hate about our board.

At the end of the day, I don't know why anyone would care less, though,.
If this was BuckeyePlanet you would have been banned by now. That is the difference. And Grant is awesome.

Why don't you just shut up? OSU could beat the crap out of this site, and everyone here knows it.

Actually, no I wouldn't be beause I've said as much on BP.

Let me ask you this.. suppose I do some research (which I've already stated I haven't done with regard to BG this year) and come back and try and argue why BG's overrated, gonna suck or any such and see how long I last.

I know that not every buckeye fan is an insufferable ass. You are obviously capable of discussing your favorite team and seeing a flaw here or there. However, the vast vast vast majority of Buckeye fans are not capable of doing these things, and it's a far higher percentage than with other football factories like Oklahoma, Miami, USC, etc.

People here understand that BG will likely have a down year but could have a good year. Tenkini says BG sucks every week. BG may suck. I understand that. I can admit that. That is the difference between BG fan and Buckeye fan. We are reasonable. You as a majority, are unreasonable.

Read the third thread down...And as it will likely change here it is....
