EMU is our last home night game this season....

Post by BGSU33 »

....since the Western Michigan and Marshall games have been moved up for TV. I hope word gets out to those who need to know about the TV time changes before we have fans arriving after the game is over! It's been a while since we've had early games at BG. To be honest, I don't mind the earlier starts later in the year since the weather gets colder at night and the time change is also about to happen. I love that we use the lights, but I also enjoy an afternoon home game sometimes too.

I keep hearing the arguement about weather at night, late in the year. I'm not sure I buy it totally. Spike the hot chocolate or something.

Darned if we do, darned if we don't.

Yeah, as we already know, you can never count on the weather. But the daytime highs are usually earlier in the day than later at night, especially later in the year. That's almost always the case. And guess what? The forecast for the EMU game is already calling for more showers and cooler temperatures again for this weekend. Looks like the warmer temperatures and clearer skies will be out of there just in time for kickoff!

I've given up on the local TV weather types. In particular Ch. 24's "1 minute of weather, 10 minutes on how Lickitty Split named an ice cream treat after me" Bill Spencer. The man couldn't predict a sunrise accurately.
