Re: Omar in
What the heck when? I didn't know they were playing tonight. Dang, I thought they'd be playing tomorrow. I wanted to see Omar again. Which channel is he on ESPN, NFL Network or some local station only?bgsuman wrote:Takin some snaps for Steelers right now..
Mid-2000's Anderson Animal
ESPN and he just fumbled trying to stretch a run out wide. Another rough first series for #4.

I don't think it would be wise with two brittle QBs, but there has been some rumor out of camp of putting Omar or Boyd or both on the PS and only keeping two QBs on the 53.
The Steelers have a ton of depth and have some very hard cut decisions to make.

Word is boyd and omar to hit the silk, as pit will carry only 2 qbs and none on the PS.
They feel very confident with ben and batch and figure if something happens they can pick up a qb with out much issue.
I was realy hopeful that Jacobs would be a develoment qb
Boyd sacked and fumbled....not good but boyd has looked worse all along.
but I dont know who would pick up Omar if hes droped at this poit, figure hes screwed more or less untill next year and UFA QBs dont seem to do much.
I admire Omar for taking his shot, he is a good qb who just needs development time.
