Get over it. They are set, everyone in the country is picking them. people who know a lot more about the teams. people who travel the country to evaluate teams say right now OSU may be the best then thats fine, they have reason to believe it.

just because you - uneducated of other schools -fools disagree doesnt mean you should bitch about everything.

damn
You really need to avoid this place. Since you're so "educated" about all of college football and we simple farm folk in NW Ohio don't know sh*t, why bother?

It's attitudes like yours that make is very easy to despise OSU. The thing is I don't hate the actual team, university or coach. It's the arrogant attitude of fans like you that make me puke. Get over yourself, eh?

OSU will lose at least 3 games this year.
three games? no. 1 game maybe. that one game may be texas. The benefit of dropping your first game is that you do not drop far in the polls especially when it is to #2 or #3 whatever texas was ranked by AP. lose the 2nd game of the year the odds are they will be right back in the top 2 by Michigan week.

and then you will eat a bug.
So, you're saying that OSU is going to lose against NIU?

Interesting.
Unless he's saying that OSU is going to lose against BG. *Ducks aways from Tiki Poll*

lol , no. one thing I will garuntee is that OSU will shut out BG.

with no passing game, BG has no shot. they will be the most one dimensional offense in the nation.

I suppose that you are guaranteeing this with your $60K income. No, I did not say betting. I said guaranteeing.

I wonder how many people are going to be cashing in if you are wrong.

Naturally, guarantees are pointless if there is not any collateral behind it. So, how about giving us some details for this arrangement of yours.

Cheerio.

I highly doubt that OSU will shut out BG. BG might not win, but we won't be shut out. By the way, anyone know when the last time BG was shut out in a game? Turner is actually more 2 dimensional then Jacobs was. Turner might not have the arm that Jacobs did, but he can run a lot better to make up for it. Passing isn't everything, besides would you, tiki, be more concerned if we did have a better passer anyway? Are you saying that your back field sucks?

1998 season opener: Mizzou 37, BG 0. The Falcons followed that up by posting only a figgie against Penn State.

There were three goose eggs in 1997 (Ohio, Marshall and Kansas State).

The last time BG scored fewer than 10 points: 2002 vs. South Florida.

I'm sure we could have left that as a rhetorical question. While you're at it, why don't you give me a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it?

passing means something if all you can do is run, if you cant throw, you can not run.

concerned about the backfield? troy smith pittman and beanie wells? NOPE not at all.

I am going to assume you meant secondary since we are talking about defense. But, since you do not even know the difference I don't see a point in answering this dumb question...

But I will anyways.

I am not one bit concerned about the secondary, linebackers or d line for OSU. AS I have said time and time again they are faster, more athletic and more talented than last years D.

The D line and secondary are actually better. Lets face it. Youghboty sucked in my opinion. Jenkins is absolutley amazing. anything other than yoboughty is an upgrade.

from what I hear Andre Amos is playing at a higher level than expected.

OSU D = perfectly fine.

only thing they do not have from last years team is experience and that comes with every game.

why am i not worried about Texas or Iowa?

Texas does not have an experienced QB, they do not have one who has even attempted a pass in a game yet. starting RB is off the team and they have holes in the D

Iowa has no experienced WR;'s replaced all of their linebackers who are not even close to being as highly touted as OSU's, and lets face it they are simply not that great. they got manhandled on all sides last year by OSU.

OSU does not have an experienced D, and last time I checked a team is better than an individual.

Thanks 1987alum, even if it was a rhetorical question. :P

For you to get so defensive over such a simple mistake, man, you must really have a stick up your butt.

I second that. The team wins or loses the game, not one person.

I am beginning to think our OSU friend is right. We cannot live without talking about that place down south. Just ignore everything he says and he will go away. I guess that is just too hard for some of us to do, we would rather get into a pissing match with him every time and then bitch because he is here. Learn the lesson people!!!!!
