Fun at work...

Post by Tricky_Falcon »

So I'm at crew stadium for high school football for work here in Columbus. A guy from the Dispatch was talking about college games and mentioned the BG vs. Wisconsin game and said, uh...that one will get ugly quickly. He was like BG has nothing I wouldn't even waste my time going to that. He went on to talk about the other MAC teams like they were high school teams and that we should be thankful that a Wisconsin or any B10 teams would "let" us play them.

Print writers=douchebags.

In fact, I think they make you pass the douchebaggery test before they give you your first laptop. That and the "agility test"...making sure you can make it through the buffet line at least three times and still have room to snake a few leftover hot dogs at halftime.

Mark Znidar. Apparently he even covers some MAC games for the dispatch.

*This is also a guy who thinks Toledo and NIU will meet in the MAC title game.

That's unfortunate. I was hoping it was some knucklehead high school writer. Znidar is the closest thing the Dispatch has to a MAC writer.

In fairness, it is not unreasonable to argue Wisconsin will crush us today. But you make it sound like he is drinking the same Kool Aid everyone else around here seems to be drinking.

Does he not remember the last time Bowling Green played Ohio State?

That's really unfortunate.

Just listening to his smug remarks about the MAC wanted me to tear my hair out. Other than that he was a nice guy.
