Steven Wright

Post by Kaleena08 »

So does Steven Wright play for Northern Kentucky now? Because on the lovely facebook it says he goes there and was interesting in NKU basketball. I didn't know if he just went there, or actually plays there? :-s

The plan was that he'll play there. Having graduated from BGSU, he has a year of eligibility... Not sure if all the "I"s are dotted yet and the "T"s crossed for him, but he should be on the court this winter for them.

Man, I still remember the year we had Ron Lewis, Raheem Moss and Steven Wright in the same class come to BG and how much positive news it brought with it from the recruiting services. It's a shame that none of these three even played four years at BG. Like it was pointed out in another post, we can recruit them, it's been retaining them that's been the problem. I hope like hell those days are over.

We'll have a much better idea about that sometime around May 2007.

Steven Wright quit on this team at least 40 times. Hope he has fun in Kentucky where he has to marry his cousin.

(That dude graduated from BG and still writes like that?)

Someone ought to email a link to that site to his current coach.

I've been keeping an eye on Wright down here and he's looked pretty good thus far in preseason, namely in the Black-White game at NKU. There has been quite a bit of fanfare/press for Wright as well. NKU is one of those teams that has three guys on this year's team that transferred in from D-I schools (BG, Dayton, and New Mexico). Wright's probably going to have a very good season against D-II talent. His coach is constantly talking about how his speed and jumping ability are rarely seen on the D-II level. I wish Wright the best in his choice to move to NKU, but I will not cheer for him.

Aren't there laws against this sort of thing? Couldn't they have just gone shirts and skins instead?

Wright was, is, and foreseeably will be a jackass. I think you'd be hard pressed to find too many people that interacted with him say otherwise.

He has talent, and little else. Have fun in Kentucky, jackass.

This may be many things, but it is certainly NOT shocking. Steven did not get along with Dan. That was not a well hidden fact. He quit the team multiple times before finally being done. I've heard from reasonably credible sources that he actually told recruits that he was shadowing to not come to BG, because of Dan.

We all know that he and Dan never saw eye to eye. How does this surprise anyone?
