With the notable exception of KSU - no one got annihilated. A lot of teams will lose by 20 to Ohio State and Penn State. Miami and WMU disappointed. At least Toledo didn't get KILLED like against Kansas a couple of years ago.Falconfreak90 wrote:Exactly. With the exception of the Kent game, most of these scores are respectable. There aren't a bunch of 56-0 or 49-3 scores.
It would have been great to see some MAC wins over the BCS boys this weekend but it didn't happen. That BCS needs to go...it is slowly trying to kill the non BCS conferences.
Why is the MAC so bad OOC?

I love the BG band but I have to agree that the WISKY had a louder, more crisp sound. Especially when WISKY would make a big play, the band just seemed to rock with heavy percussion! I love that!! Our band did a real nice half time show but during the game it seemed like (especially during the 1st half) they were not into the game at all. It did get a little better the 2nd half...Just my opinion....

It seems quite simple. The FMB uses a combination of the Iowa precision marching techniques as well as more modern "corps style" techniques. If I was a UW alumnus (I have a colleague with an MM from UW-Madison in trumpet performance who made this statement before I even saw the band perform yesterday), I would demand more from whomever is in charge of the University's marching band. Given the large number of great musicians in the music school in Madison, the quality of the band should be much higher.
