Weather for BG/UB

Post by BGSU33 »

It's six days away, but right now the extended forecast is calling for another wet weather weekend. Hopefully this will change and we'll have some nice weather for the MAC opener on Saturday.

That's weird, because right below that listing it shows the extended forcast and it shows T-Storms for the 9th. Weird. Either way, it's too early to tell, I just hope it's nice.

Sure hope the weather is good ALL weekend long!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

i sure hope its not crappy out, because if it is, the attendance will be no higher than 10,000 and that would suck

Yeah, to quote some other fans, with our lack of quality opponent on Saturday, I have to wonder how many people will come out to the Doyt. Then again, it IS opening day at the Doyt, so that will probably call for at least a few thousand more fans than usual.

We have such horrible teams coming to play us at the Doyt this season, Fuffalo, Kent, and E.Mich. Ugggh.

Quit the negative talk!! Get out to the Doyt and bring all of your friends!!

And students who only come to party in the lots: At least go into the stadium so you can be counted as attendance....you MIGHT even enjoy the game experience if you stayed a little while!! :-D

The latest weather reports look a little better for Saturday. It's now looking like partly sunny with a decent chance of some scattered thunderstorms. Hopefully it'll continue to improve.
GO BG!!!
