3. Buffalo isn't very good. So what? Our coaches don't set the schedule. Shoot our AD doesn't even set the conference schedule. We play who's next. Buffalo's next, it's at home, everybody go.
Buffalo isn't very good? You mean undefeated Buffalo with the best record in the nation? The Buffalo that got the MAC's only OOC win last week? The Buffalo that refused to fold in OT against a former Big East BCS team? The Buffalo team that has one of the All-Time greats from Nebraska coaching it? The Buffalo team that is at least second in the nation in scoring defense? That Buffalo? The Doyt should be sold out and rocking!
Well said h2o. The game isnt played on paper, and you can get stats to read just about any way you want them to if you look hard enough. BG is certainly the better team, but we better show up or because we're not going to have it handed to us!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
transfer, right you are. This game was moved up to 3 PM by AD G Christopher and his team when it became clear that many BG fans wanted to check out Saturday night at the Black Swamp Festival downtown. I personally will be eating gator on a stick down there post win and listening to the wild sounds of Rev Horton Heat. And a few fans want to celebrate BG's big victory Sept 9 while watching another game that evening on TV.
h20ville is my second favorite Rockette....my wife is number one. No, check that...three of my brother's went to UT (although one roots for Michigan because he got his master's there, another roots for OSU becuase he got his first BA there and the third roots for OSU becaue his son played in the marching bad...christ...I'm realted to a bunch of tekinini's)
H20 is stil in the top five!
Heck... h20ville is my second favorite Rockette who still gives a crap about UT...
I do everything I possibly can to get the folks out to the Doyt, this weekend its fish! Yoder's pet store by Kroeger has gotten a hold of some extremely rare fish called cardinal tetras; a species my parents have been looking for for almost five years now. In my phone call with my mom last night I told her, hey if you make it up to the game this weekend then you can bring your fish home right away and I won't have to hold them in my tank. Talk about using alterior motives...
As far as getting other friends from out of town up for this weekend, The BGMC is having their first official social event of the year and those are usually the hottest thing in town.

The BG - Buffalo game is at THREE pm, not 6..... game time was changed weeks ago.....so the poor OSU fans wouldn't miss THEIR game.
Actually, the reason given was because of people who attend the Black Swamp Arts Festival. There is a lot of entertainment on Saturday night and instead of trying to compete with that, the problem was avioded all together with a time change. In my opinion that was the best thing to do. And so what if the OSU/Texas game had something to do with it. Considering where we are right now developing a solid, strong home attendance base we need to do anything we can to make sure there are as many butts in the seats. Thats the RESPONSIBLE thing to do. Hopefully we get to the day where that will not be necessary, but we are not there yet.

The Freaks, as usual, will be there in full force. DD, I am trying to convince the Mrs. to get into BG by 10. Save me a spot and I'll save one for FF! Maybe we should try and get the first row by the field where hammb sets up. That's always a good place for tossing the football too. Josh wants to buys some stuff at the bookstore and I wanna tailgate by 10:30. I think we'll spend the night in Huron so we can get up and go the next day. Looking forward to getting my butt in Sec 13, Row 24, seat 5. We MUST support this program. It's too good to be talking about that NCAA crap.
GO FALCONS!!!!
Freak,
Don't forget, assuming everything goes all right with picking up the camper on Friday, we'll be there with it Saturday morning w/Falcon music pumping through the outside speaker system! We'll try to get there early enough to get a spot at or near our regular digs. Oh yeah, and the john in it will be open. We're camping at Fire Lake this weekend to break it in so dumping won't be a problem...

Any ideas on an ETA DD?
I'll call around, but most of my regular tailgating friends are working, so it may just be me. I don't wanna hang out there all morning by myself, so I'll likely not try to be the first one out there this week
Does anyone like BBQ? I'm thinking about throwing a couple pork shoulders on the smoker Friday night, then throwing them in a roaster or something to stay warm for the tailgate. But if ya'll wouldn't be interested in eating that I won't, because they're way too big for just me to eat by myself
Definitely gonna have to take the fryer, some pizza rolls sound pretty tasty

I'm going to try to be there around 10:30 or 11:00, so if you don't plan on showing up before then you won't be tailgaiting alone!
Oh, and I would definately vote for the BBQ. 8) I can also bring some stuff for the fryer if you let me know what you want.
