It was announced on 1470 that 7 hockey players have been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Pooch is suppose to have a new conference at 5pm.

How long is the suspension??? Only 1 game I hope. This is awful but hooray for Pooch for doing it. That is the only way they will learn to follow the team rules. It's a good thing that we have 30 on the team this year instead of the usual 23 or 24!!

Does this have something to do with the article in today's Sentinel about a photo that is circulating?

Nothing reported on 13 ABC other than 7 players were suspended indefinitely for violating team policy. Hopefully, the team can rebound from this and keep up the winning.

It'd be my guess that it has something to do with the article in tonight's Sentinal. The incident happened in April, 2003....a photo was sent to the Sentinal from an anonymous person from Canada. It features a naked hockey player laying down, apparently passed out, with words written all over his body, including racial slurs. There are several other players standing around him. Apparently it happened in a dorm room.

Given the date of the incident, it's obvious that all seven are at least juniors. Hopefully one of the suspended players isn't Siggy.

This sucks but if the players deserved the punishment, then they should be punished.

I think our team will be ok even with this happening.

GO BG!!

You know I wondered about that..... I opened the link, earlier, but found it to be a total waste of my time!!

This whole event is enough to make me ::puke:: and :wah: As tired as I am, I am staying up for the 10 Fox News broadcast to see if there is anything else on it. I want to scream. :x
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Regardless of whether it is just a game or who is involved this is no way to start a season that that could finally be promising. This team didn't anything like this. 7 players being suspended at one time is huge. And I want to puke too

You may be waiting a while for the Fox news broadcast because of the World Series game tonight.
