I was in that endzone - (I called the blocked punt). The guy who blocked it slithered right through the blockers and was right on top of rojas. IMO, it was NOT his fault.

I was near the end zone. I called the block punt on the first series when we came out in that formation.

the newspaper is supposed to be objective, the special teams is at fault for two touchdowns and the defense had a hard time making tackles, the writer hardly slammed the team, he pointed out the good plays as well like the 4th down stop and the fake punt

I dont blame our De at all, they preformed fantatic, and what giant strides over last year, this "BGNEWS" limp wrister got this part dead wrong. our D is going to perform as one of the top three D's in the mac, and moer importnatly is going to win us games by forcing oponents to 3 and out a lot this year.

Secondly this cat did not express very well at all how crapy our specail teams were..I dont think they even made it off the short bus

Why exactly do you need to personally insult a BG student for his opinion of the game. Can't you just say you disagree. Please try to write coherently in your explanation. The dyslexia execuse only goes so far when trying to back up thoughts that make no logical sense.

I don't know that you can completely write off what he said. In the first half they did tackle like a bunch of pop warner players. They threw shoulder, bounced off and didn't wrap up.

Otherwise i think they should be alright. I can't imagine that it will affect students going to the game. The ones that wanted to go are still going to go and the ones who dont go wouldn't havve went anyway.

My post makes perfect sense, our Defense has made huge steps since last year...easy to understand, and clearly demonstrated. Our D will be in the top 3 in the mac this and win us some games...did I lose you ( gee I hope not

) and our special team clearly are provide by lot industries.
it does not come much more plain than this...dyslexia only effects my spelling and sentence structure...some times I take a little extra time...the time in question I did not...it was simple enough.

There is not one incorrect statement in this article concerning the defense: we got to the ball quick but tackled poorly, and he acknowledges that part of this is due to the fact that Hill was a beast. Everything you've said are "predictions" for how the defense will do, nothing more. Not to mention, Colin points out that this defense will find more success when MAC play begins.
Also, if you want to rip on the BG News, at least come up with something better then how a writer "can almost open a ziplock bag."
Finally, thanks to everyone who gives a damn about the paper, feedback is always appreciated, even if it's nonsensical and in broken english.

how do you know he's a limpwrister, he could probably slap you around, you're the one ripping on him on a message board that he probably doesn't read tough guy, he must have proved something to somebody if he's writing and editing for the newspaper and you're writing your opinion on a fansite

Well guns and bullets go together, they are a passion of mine, and trust me if some ever sees the business end of one my guns it will be a consumated deal. The odds of that happening here in BG hopefull the stats are worese than winning powerball (which I dont play), but should the need arise, and for the safety of everyone I CCW.Now as far as fools writing about sports and trying to follow the trend in the modern era of lacking all journalistic abilities this cat was tops, I am sure he will graduate, but will never make his way out of that complicated bag. A bag where he could have been suportive of the teams growth and strides taken and made in the off season, and clebrate a wonderfull showing. Instead he attempted to portray himself as the erudtie football guru who finds it needed to bash a team of amatures (like himself) with the hopes of self promotion, and for what? A school newspaper. All the negitivity put out in the name of sensationalisim takes news and real journalism and makes it look like that crap, put out by wanbe bad asses, i hope you got your diver certification out of the way, seems you could use a rebreather in that bag.

Wow-Gay Falcons, limp wristers, Lott Industry references-you must have missed the earlier thread about knocking off gay and retarded references. Hey, even Flipper hates me less than he hates a lot of other UT fans. And on this issue I would think almost everybody would line up on the same side-we've got a guy on our board who probably doesn't (ooooooooo) CCW, but is "THAT" guy. I guess everybody needs one.
