4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
Since when do you have to sit in the seat your ticket tells you to? I can honestly say that the '03 UT game & the MACC that year were the only games that I've ever sat in the seats my tickets told me to. If he wants to sit elsewhere he'll have no problems, most likely.hross1 wrote:With the addition of SEBO, we lost seats.
Those free tickets are for the visiting side, just so you know. My brother's tickets are in section 16.
We got a Marco's pizza tonight. Have to do the pick-up thing to get the tickets. My two are also in sec 16, row 36, as if that matters. Pretty damn good deal with our coupon, XL pizza with two football tickets for $12.hammb wrote:Since when do you have to sit in the seat your ticket tells you to? Alright, now I'm REALLY wondering how our attendance is calculated, because I was at the Temple game last year and I thought for sure that game was a sellout. Same goes for Toledo too, but I thought the crowd for the Temple game was even bigger.BGSUFootballFan wrote:I have kept track of the attendance of all of BG's home games since 2002 when they became my favorite team. Pretty fine line between worthless and great for you, isn't it?
But your point remains. Without the rain, the Missouri crowd could have hit 25,000, I would think.

Was it raining for the Missouri game? That was my very first ever BGSU Football game, and I don't recall rain?Schadenfreude wrote:Missouri (2002): 21,969Dayons_Den wrote:My example would be we had a BCS "power" in Mizzou here a few years ago- granted they aren't blazing their way to a Jan. 1 game, but THE state school in MO. and a pretty big deal and we had a worthless crowd. Eh, somewhat of a fine line. I am going based on what the crowds looked like, though. If people can swear last years Temple games and Toledo games were over 25K based on appearance I feel the right to say the Mizzou game looked more like 15K. Regardless, for a name opponnent, like Mizzou, you should be able to raise the price of your ticket and still sellout or draw 25k+.Schadenfreude wrote:Missouri (2002): 21,969Dayons_Den wrote:My example would be we had a BCS "power" in Mizzou here a few years ago- granted they aren't blazing their way to a Jan. 1 game, but THE state school in MO. and a pretty big deal and we had a worthless crowd. I would definately agree with that assessment. And Mizzou brought quite a few (very annoying) fans, as I recall.Dayons_Den wrote:Eh, somewhat of a fine line. I guess I just don't remember sitting in any steady rain in that game. It certainly wasn't like the Kent game in 2003...bgmaggot00 wrote:Bleeding Orange wrote: Was it raining for the Missouri game? That was my very first ever BGSU Football game, and I don't recall rain?
Ummm... yeah. The weather SUCKED for that Mizzou game. Lots of fairly heavy rain. Boo.

It wasn't steady rain. It was sheets, and then it would clear. It didn't rain much during the game itself, but it stormed quite a bit before hand, when people were deciding whether to go.hross1 wrote:Yep, the MIzzou game was rainy. I was there in the student section trying not to drown.
Thing was, it was actually fine weather. Very warm that day. High 70s. I'd compare it to the GMAC Bowl -- the locals were appalled, but it was so warm, the rain didn't matter much.

I remember that. I was a freshman and the FMB had to keep putting on and taking off those horrible plastic raincoats.Schadenfreude wrote:It wasn't steady rain. It was sheets, and then it would clear. Today calls for on-and-off storms too, according to weather.com....
