FIU has lost two games by 1 point...missed extra points!!!

Post by BGSU33 »

Do we have something in common next week with Florida International or what? FIU lost at Middle Tennessee last week 7-6 and at South Florida today 21-20, and in both games FIU missed an extra point on a first quarter TD, and it was the difference in the game. Next week could be a special teams war.

Even knowing they've missed 2 XP's, I would trade our ST's for FIU's in a heartbeat.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Another thing we have in common with FIU aside from the missed extra points on special teams is, USF also scored a TD on a punt against FIU (punt return).

This game should be a good measure of our special teams then. If we get outclassed by FIU, well, fill in the blank.

We are very much looking forward to you coming into The Cage. This will be our home opener, and I know the guys are ready to stay home after two road trips (one of which was extended because of the threat of a hurricane). Here's hoping for an injury free game, first and most importantly, but also for a Golden Panther victory.

We'll give you the wishes for an injury free game, but don't get greedy! :-D

Thanks for stopping by! We have a number of parents of our players stopping by this site. (And a number of other relatives, too... I swear for a minute we almost had to change the domain name to "ellisfamilyreunion.com"!!! ) It's always good to get that parental perspective on the games. Good luck to your son and FIU on Saturday!

Thanks for poping in and enjoy the free 14 pts we will give compliments of BGSU's non existant Spec Teams and a bizzar dedication to what is the worst punti formation known to man.
But who knows its is football, and thankfully no one is allowed to vote for who wins on the field of play. To the Victors go the spoils.
