tailgating!!

Post by Pete Segaard »

I just want to thank the Ay Ziggy Zoomba tailgaters for their hospitality before the game and look forward to more days in the grass. Hopefully my 5 year old will have a little better mood before game time so the family will be able to enjoy a little more. Thank you once again.

Had a great time tailgating Saturday. Great to see everyone and meet some new people as well. Always a good time East of The Doyt. Not sure if we'll be getting back to another game, so I am glad we were able to do it right!

Now about that game. . . . eh not worth the energy I need to save for the 12 hour car ride home Monday morning.

Good to see you too, DD! Got your message after the game... who's the crazy one now!?!?

Have a safe trip back to SC!

Oh, and what he said goes for me as well. I think I'll make it back for homecoming, but not totally sure as of yet. It was great to hang out at the tailgate and then with a few of ya at the game. (Warthog, it was nice to meet you, apparently. :-D )

DD,
Great seeing you and Betsy. Have a safe trip back.

FF,
Did Mrs. Freak leave her football bracelet in your RV? She seems to have lost it and thought it may be in there. If not, no biggie.

Just another perk of "hosting" the grill... I saw the load of leftover chips, etc. the Mrs. packed up. Should have hit her up for a few, I was starving after 5:20 worth of football!!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

If my next game is anything like last night, we should save it for postgame and rip it apart then. Hell, another game like that and I think even hammb would drink Bud Light!!

But hey, at the end of an exhausting day, BG got a win, I got to revisit with some great Falcon fans, and spend a great week around our wonderful campus.

Yeah, you too Tony, if you were the guy in the hard hat next to hammb at the game. We need to get name tags so I don't feel like at idiot all the time.

Yup. That was me. The well-behaved one of the group. :-D I don't know about name tags, but I'm usually pretty good about remembering faces and non-screen names and doing better about introductions next time.

For instance, I now know who "Ohiogal" is, but she doesn't know me. It's like my own private SICSIC!!!

I must admit I wimped out on the tailgate. For those that were around DD's spot, you may have noticed me. I walked up (orange wig and all), but upon realizing I had no idea who anyone was, I decided I'd just head into the game.
Maybe next time I can ditch the anxiety and hang out for a bit.
Maybe.

Most of us don't' bite, I promise. I'd watch out for BGFan, though. Especially if you bring your girlfriend. :P
