Reviewing the weekly Media Notes

Post by Warthog »

1. Paul Braverman is listed as the color commentator for the radio broadcast instead of Cal Bowers. Any ideas about this? Cal couldn't make the trip? Fired already? Braverman is a big contributor and got to pick a game to do analysis on?

2. BG leads the MAC in both total offense and total defense. Did any one think we would be able to say that this year? I am not sure which one is more surprising.

3. Dozier leads the MAC in tackles and is fifth in the nation at 14 per game. =D>

4. The Pittsburgh game that AD Christopher mentioned in another article is NOT listed on the Future Schedules.

5. Depth Chart changes: Watson moves from 2nd LG to 2nd C. Steffy moves up to 2nd LG. Curtis moves (again) from 2nd C to 2nd RG, sharing that with Mahoney. Chris Wright moves up to 2nd X over Kelvin Davis. Brandon Jones moves up to second H over Ty Pronty. Minturn is now 2nd DT with Young. Minturn was at NG. Basler moves up to 2nd MIKE after Haneline moved over to 2nd WILL. Finally, Rutherford is listed as a 2nd LS for the first time.

Well since you mention leading the MAC in total offense, this thread seems like a good place to link Maureen's latest BG installment. This one is on the running game.
