Well, I've waited long enough for this. I have faith in the team, no doubt. But as others have pointed out, there are several variables stacked against us for this trip. FIU played very well in a tough environment at USF. They will be hungry and home for the first time this year. I see BG coming away with a hard fought win based on how well our O and D are playing.

BGSU 27, FIU 19.

GO FALCONS!!

Since I'll probably be offline most of tomorrow, I'll chime in, too.

BG: 3
FIU: 2

An unexpected defensive struggle erupts with BG managing a figgie early in the fourth, then having Rojas run out of the end zone near game's end for the only scoring.

In that case, well worth buying some matchsticks to keep those 'lids propped open..

I think you'll see this week we will really come out and play great, we always do on the road moreso than at home. Just look at the differential between the games last season on the road (ie: beating the pants off of Miami, winning at Kent w/o Omar, creaming Buffalo.) and home (losing to Akron, losing to Toledo, having Omar go down and the team quits against WMU)
Since the beginning of the 2002 season.

Regular Season Games played at DLP -- 20-3

Regular Season Games played away from DLP -- 16-11
You mean we NEVER lost a game at home between 2002-2004? That's amazing.

Yup -- The Miami Roethlisbergers beat us in the MACC game at the Doyt, but that wasn't considered a home game. We had one of the longer home winning streaks in the country.

The spread is at 5.5 right now. BG covers that on the back of superstar in waiting Freddie Barnes, 24-14 really good guys.
