You gave the same speech what two, three years ago? Or was that Hail Peden another ou fan? We were supposed to watch out for that great passing attack and what has been the result?

Good luck. Just remember that before and after September 30th we are on your side. Just not that day.

Go Falcons!

We didn't show NIU anything with our Tennessee-Martin game, we played it close to the chest for a reason, and then we went out to Dekalb and just torched them through the air. BG has sent some very good teams to NIU in recent years led by guys like Josh Harris and Omar Jacobs and still came up short out there. I think you were even ranked in one of those games. This is a new year and a different type of program with a different attitude with Ohio football. We could come up short at Rutgers and Missouri, but after that, we're winning the MAC East this year. For those of you that still don't believe, you will on September 30 when we beat BG.
Well, well, well...look who crawled outta his hole.

17-0
72-21
41-16
38-14

What is that you ask? The last 4 games BG vs. Ohio. We have FIU and Kent State before Ohio. We'll concentrate on one game at a time.

Talk about winning the MAC....we've done it TEN times. Ohio's done it ONCE.  40 years ago.

Once??? My friend, if you're going to throw facts out there, at least make sure they are accurate. Ohio has won five MAC titles, not one. And yes, BG has won the last four as you pointed out, but let me remind you of the four out of five we won right in front of that.

W, 38-0
W, 24-0
L, 35-7
W, 17-14
W, 23-21

But that's all in the past, and in a few weeks we'll be 2-0 in the MAC after we beat BG.

He's right. We're no McNeese State.

Wow...you're right. I guess what I meant to say is you've won it once in the last 40 years. Since Ohio is usually near the bottom of the standings, I kinda got used to seeing them down there.

Let me also remind you BG leads the all time series 34-21-2 and is 18-4-1 in the last 23. Hmmm....

BG will win again on 9/30. But I digress...FIU is first.

I'm sure that was the case.

Question for you. Will you go away as quickly as you resurfaced after OU loses to BG AGAIN? I like how you conveniently come back after beating NIU and not after the offensive outburst vs Tenn Catholic High School.

kdog,

You mean that 144 yards of total offense against the 1-AA team?

I've been thinking...let him have his fun now. Let's see what happens on 9/30 and take it from there. I promise, from this point on, not to discuss anything about this game until the week of the game. Done. Finished. FIU is next.

I'll leave this for OBC from CFN.com...

What will happen: Someone’s posing, and it’s not the Scarlet Knights, who continue to get better and gain confidence. While commendable, Ohio’s win over Northern Illinois will wind up being more of a blip on the radar than a sign the Bobcats are ready to storm the gates of the MAC East. CFN prediction..>Rutgers 35, Ohio 14.
