FIU=Marshall of the South

Post by Dayons_Den »

Whats with all the jawing, helmet slapping, butt taps by the Golden Panthers defense after they make a play? Claaassssssseeeeeeyyyyyyyy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stepped on AT's wrist on the play he got hurt.

I just got back into town and didn't get to listen to the game. I was keeping an eye on the scores on my cell. What happened with Turner? Please tell me he's okay.

At this point I think the only thing we know is he left the game with a wrist injury. Kudos to Barnes for making some big plays down the stretch.

Damn. Was it the wrist on his throwing arm? Did he return after he went out? I hope he's okay and that it's just a sprain or something.

He got hurt on a QB stretch/keepr play to the left. There was a pile up and he came out of it hurt. No replay so not sure what happened exactly.

BG opened up the offense and Turner was twirling it well. Hope he can bounce back soon as I liked our offense with the look of throwing and running from the QB spot.

In the post game, Brandon said he "popped his shoulder" and will be ok.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

No. Barnes played the rest of the game at QB.

That makes me sad.

Why couldn't they be 0-6?

Man, that brawl was unreal. Did you see the one FIU player whack one of the Canes over the head with his helmet? Coker is losing control down in Coral Gables.
