Forum Suggestion 2 - what's cooking?

Post by Zom »

The recipe that UK Peregrine found for beef stew reminds me that I think a board for tailgate cuisine would be a wonderful way to round out this already most culturally excellent forum. I get the idea on "starters" like deep fried Oreos/Mars bars/etc., but it would be mouthwatering, I'm sure, to see what REALLY makes the grade before those BG rollercoaster rides!

I'm not too bad with the old aprons, ladels, and spoons myself, you know. That's why they call me "Zomme l'homme" down there in Bordeaux, deepest France, where I turned a nation on to... chicken wings. Who'd have thought, eh? I've got a few recipes in mind for you guys, too. Right now, I'm thinking beef stifados, and I think I may have posted a rather tasty solution for kangaroo kebabs just a couple of days ago.

I'm hungry now. Where's the (crunchy) peanut butter?

Zom:

I was thinking the same thing. After hammb's smoking/grilling details, I figured we need an AZZ.com cookbook.

Beer recipies too. Yeah... I like this idea. Compile them all into a cookbook then when we have enough. Cool!!

It's been created. Zom, since you suggested it, I've made you a moderator, and Mark, since you made some damn-fine quesadillas last week, you're the other mod.

Let's keep it to food talk if at all possible. Might not be a whole lot of traffic, but it could prove to be a valuable resource!!

Thanks for the suggestion guys!

Arghh, my name's turned red! The hand of benevolance moves decisively - glad to have a chance to help. Nice idea on the home brew, too, Grant.
