Way to go, Spart! You're a star!

It's awesome that Corey is healthy and ready to go...we NEED him in the biggest way. I'd like to see him catch about 10 passes for 150 yards and 3 TD's this weekend for his B day.

GO FALCONS!!

Believe me, I would love to see that too, but I think the running game will continue and we will have over 300 yards rushing on Saturday. As long as we throw enough to keep teams honest I can handle running the ball. Just keep winning. Corey will get his here and there. Just keep it going and keep those young guys learning.

Oh I know...I was just being selfish for Corey's sake. LOL!!! I think we'll be able to name our rushing yards on Kent.

Its Scott, but that is ok. Corey wasn't a WR in HS, he was a RB and QB and yes he ran alot of sweeps because no one in HS could beat him to the corners.

Personally I liked the one he had at Miami last year. He took the pitch from Omar, who was running an option with the RB to the left. Ran to the right side and hit Sean in the endzone. I am sure we may see that sometime this season.

I'm still surprised whe haven't seen Zach Charles run a reverse/end around. If he's the blazer everyone has noted, that seems like a play that's custom made for him. Of course, I like the option of throwing out of that play, too, so setting it up with Corey might be a better "option", pun totally intended.

Exactly, in fact I don't know why we haven't sent him deep using his apparent great speed. I'm so getting sick of these 5 yrd outs.

As much as I love a wide-open offense, if we win 2 out of every three games this year (extrapolating our current 2-1 record) by throwing a lot of five-yard outs, I'll take it.

But if they work...people would bitch about TU and how Bruce only threw it ten yards down the field. He didn't need to throw it 40 or 50 yards because the short little routes got the job done. Quit yer bitching and enjoy the success.
