Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.
If you're not a perennial powerhouse with recruits forever knocking at your door like USC, Notre Dame or Miami, when you lose that much fire power over two seasons, it's extremely difficult to improve and build year-to-year.
It was in 2000, when Buffalo broke it's 18 game 0-for-Division I-A streak by defeating us. I saw that game in person, and I will never forget it.
What a profound trauma. It must have felt like a Ben Roethlisberger motorbike accident - for THREE HOURS. Do you remember leaving the stadium? And yet - you're still here. A minute's silence is in order, lest we forget..

Though I wasn't there to watch it listening it on the radio was no treat either. I knew we were down but I had no clue we could go so low. Two weeks ago we almost became the only school Buffalo has beaten twice (I might be wrong about that but I can't think of a team they have beaten twice off the top of my head).
