Well, seeing as the only person predicting a KSU win is Shakrocket, it appears that we are finally gaining some collective optimism on here. It was depressing to see some of us calling for a loss against Florida International last week.Warthog wrote:I agree with MIBGSUFan. No special teams TDs. And I think you guys are either underrating our defense or overrating Kent's offense. I think this teams is improving each week and is looking to score an 'easy' win before heading to Athens.
BG 31
Kent 13
BG 42
Kent 24
This game will be like the Buffalo game in that the special teams gives up a touchdown on the opening kickoff for KSU. But that's the only time they lead all day, as the BG running attack torches Kent's awful run defense all day. The OL opens up huge holes, even though we just ran our 25th QB sweep of the day. Down 21-10 at halftime, Edelman gets KSU back into the game, leading the Flashes on their longest drive of the day, ending in a touchdown. But BG goes back to the bread and butter with Macon, Winovich, and Barnes running the ball. Kent's defense by now is sucking wind from how long they've been on the field, and they get pounded the rest of the game. BG wins it going away.
