Away support for OU on Saturday?

For those that are going, get behind these guys from the beginning. They need some support from us right now. This game could cause our season to go really south or vault us right back into MAC East contention. Kent State will NOT roll through this league with 1 loss or less. If we start playing like we're capable, we are not out of this race.

Again, totally agree. I will be screaming my lungs out for them the minute they walk out of the tunnel...thru the whole game. I won't quit on the team. I can't quit on these guys.

I know the East is up for grabs. Kent hosts Akron this week and Akron already has a loss in the MAC.

After all they are my other alma mater (it was grad school...who cares!)

My brother actually goes to Kent, so I caught a lot of stick this weekend, however, he'll be at the stadium with my parents so I'll be getting text message updates for those of us in the stands...

Funny thing about today. I found out about all the Kent grads here as they've made their way over to my desk. I don't recall ANY of them saying they went to Kent before this game (most are OSU fans anyway). NOW, they're all ragging me. I just replied "Yes, you won and we stunk up the field. Imagine going thru that every year cuz we've beaten Kent 52 times while you've beaten BG 16".

Then I asked "Where were you for the last 30 years?"

Finally, I said "This works both ways. Like how a 9-21 BG hoops team waltzed into your gym last winter and beat KSU, the MAC Champ, on their home floor".

God I hope we destroy them next year at Kent.

Freak..that's because KSU grads are not a very smart or proud group...Can any of them read and write???

Whats more is that this success will do very little to help attendance at Kent. The few games I've gone to had very little in the way of actual people or atmosphere. That said, you can buy beer there at the games. Anyone aware of the rules for that at OU, I've never been to their stadium.

I will definantly be at the OU game! So we lost a game, it sucked, but that was Saturday, and today is Monday. Let's get past it, and worry about the next game. Not to mention I am excited about this game because I won't have to listen to another student bitch about every play they do, every run they run, every pass that's passed. The away games seperates the true fans who support the falcons ALL the time and those who go to the game to complain all the damn time. Sorry, those kids just make me want to punch them. Anyways...Beat the Bobkittens!!

Freak -- I'm not overly familiar with the parking lots at OU but I'll be looking for your flag somewhere. I'll try to actually get down there early. I'm not real happy about what happened Saturday against Kent, but I, like you, will be behind these kids and this program. I expect to have no voice left by late Saturday afternoon. Hey, email me and let me know what to bring for the tailgate if you want. I'm done venting about the KSU game. I probably already said some things I shouldn't have about that game. We'll find out what our team is made of this Saturday. It's gut-check time for the Falcons.

Well Niz...Look for a gray Ford Freestyle with a helmet on the top and the big orange flag with an interlocking "BG". I'll also be flying a football player flag given to me by Laura Hart...mother of former Falcon Andrew Hart. I'd like to get there by 10:30-11. I'll PM you my cell # and if anyone else wants to meet up, I'll be heading over to the lot by the River...if they let me. Last time down we had to park behind some dorm...which sucked.

WOO! I was just able to get my on-call shift covered for Saturday afternoon so I'll be able to make the scenic drive to Athens. I probably won't make it until 2 or shortly thereafter, but I'll at least be able to make it. I hope we can continue our dominance over those guys.
