It was 38-3.

How about if we compare our ability to reload to Toledo's? Still ridiculous?

Um...Toledo is also 2-2. They beat McNeese State last week and squeaked one out against Kansas. I agree Toledo has had its success but they are hardly a model of where we need to be right now.

Where to start ...

First off, Freak, I'm still in pain on this one! Birddog, I respect your comments about our lack of depth and recruits, but bottom line, it's the coaching staff's fault that we are in this position. Isn't it their job to recruit players so that we have depth and don't get in this position where we're fighting to stay out of the MAC basement? I'm sorry, but as others have already said, getting our butts handed to us 38-3 at home by Kent State is unacceptable. At this point, with the exceptions of Temple and maybe Eastern Michigan, I can't think of a single game that we will have a chance to win this season. And really, I'm not so sure we can beat Eastern at home. They just took Central Michigan into OT before losing. Will 4-8 be acceptable to you Birddog? I hope not. I sincerely hope the coaching staff gets this ship righted, starting this Saturday in Athens. I'll be at the game cheering the Falcons on, and like Freak, will only miss the Central and Temple games from here on out. I just hope BGSU96 and I have something to cheer about. Hammb, you said exactly what I thought leaving the game ... that we've let our program slip to the point where we're getting taken out behind the woodshed in our own stadium by Kent State ... can't get much worse than that as far as I'm concerned. That was pathetic and inexcusable.

Perhaps not at this point, but they clearly have sustained success in their program for a longer period of time than we have. They have yet to have a rebuilding year.
