The place I buy it at is actually at a bar/restaurant in Granville, OH called Brews. It has a nice list of almost any kind of beer you can think of. It's about a half hour away from Columbus. The nice thing is, you can buy beer there by the case. It's worth a trip down there every so often. Sure beats the "beer" they serve at bars in Columbus.
It is a beer that they only brew like once a year. They serve it on tap in the pub for awhile, an also sell some 4 packs of it. I think there is pretty much only one shipment of it a year. I have only seen it at the places with large selections, no regular grocery stores or anything.

It's a big ale, they call it a stock ale. something like 7.5-8% alcohol, with a ton of hop bitterness as well. The final product is very sweet, almost syrupy, but with a great amount of hop goodness as well.

If you can find it, pay th e$10 for the 4 pack.

Isn't it intersting how apologies pair so well with beer and wine?

My apologies usually FOLLOW the beer and wine.

What's most important however, is I will never stop supporting my team I want the current players to be able to see that as well, and I just don't think the current coaching staff can lead them to that level. :(
Precisely. I will cheer loudly for the Falcons whenever they step onto a field or court and support the efforts of all parties who are contributing to the success of the team.

We all want what's best for Falcon athletics; we just have different opinions as to the best path to get there.

Some in the "shut up and take your rebuilding season like a man" camp want to silence all opposing views, but they are luckily in the minority.

The bottom line is getting this team back to where it was, whoever occupies the position of head coach.

RUIT - I admire the heck out of your restraint. I wish I had been in the chat room and heard MajorFalcon92's comment, because I am sure I would have reacted the same way. There is no one on this board that I respect more than him, and I really hope that we can get to a bowl game again this year, simply so I can share a beer with him as I did in Mobile. That was awesome. .

Everyday, I am getting a little closer to getting out of here and back to the Mrs. and the three little ones. Although the game was pretty crappy, being able to chat with some fellow Falcons made me feel a little closer to being back home. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, even the pessimists who after 1 play said we were doomed. I guess they were right, but it was making me laugh a little on how negative some folks can be.

BTW, another reason to dislike the Rockets: I kept losing my internet connection possibly caused by mortar or rocket fire. Just like in Toledo, they have quite a few "duds" here, and they don’t usually hit much.

Anyway, wish I could make the trip to Athens this weekend, but I am actually closer to Athens Greece. Still hoping to be at the UT game, and if the stars align correctly, maybe the Miami game. No indicators they will keep us here longer than expected, but anything can happen. It has been a long year+.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I think it is probably a Toledo Rocket who still has some friends in the Signal Corps causing those connectivity problems..........

I'm so sorry I missed the chat on Saturday. I love seeing you guys during the games -- bad game or not. I've gotten a job in the field I'm getting my Masters in and work weekends now.

The team may be bad right now -- but it comes and goes like this for us. I still believe my BG education is the most valuable thing I got from BG.

The teams are just a way for the rest of the country to hear about the school. More people out in California have heard of BG now than when I graduated in 1988 because of the success of the team in the past 6 years. Bad times now will pass.

Major Falcon -- you rock. You make me proud -- keeping your sense of humor even during a terrible football game.

Ohio State sucks -- let's be the upset of the season and knock 'em outta number 1!!!!!
