My sabbatical is over.

Post by Schadenfreude »

A few of you will recall I disappeared for a while after last year's Toledo game.

That loss hurt too much. I just couldn't talk about Falcon football much for a while.

Last week was the same for me. Once I turned off Brandon's post game interview, that was it. I went a week without Falcon football. I didn't read The Blade's game story. I haven't checked their sports page for a week and I haven't checked in here for a week.

But it's game day, and I hope our kids can shake it off. Our team is not great this season, but they are better than they played last week.

We have a lot of season left.

Welcome back -- and when you come to Homecoming don't forget to stop in the BG News Alumni Society Tent.
And to any other former staffers on here, I hope to see you there. Make sure to tell any other BG News Alumns you know. Suds, food, etc. If you want to bring your speciality, we'll be glad to help you eat or drink it!

Man, Hal, that would be awesome, but I'm extremely doubtful. I hate missing all these games, but such is my life right now.

I'll be at the Miami game for sure.

Making the changes you're working on is more important.

I drink a cold one for you.
