No.
Or would that just be silly?
Perhaps in the dead of winter but otherwise I don't know why you couldn't.
We generally go to the Center Ice lounge and put down a few prior to the game and between periods so tailgating never really seemed like a good idea. Why freeze and drink when you can stay warm and drink? :-D
Niz- If you are 21 join the Falcon Club, as a current student you could join for $50 bucks- this would get you in to the Pavilion at football games at to Centre Ice at hockey, a great value. At football the "beer" is free, and at hockey the usual selection of Coors Light, Labbatt, and Guiness are very moderately priced. Go in before the game, zip in at the intermissions and don't forget to tip those behind the bar!
When that magical day next 27th of June finally arrives and I can take advantage of that deal I most surely will. Until then I gotta be clever and find exciting and different ways to party before the hockey games cause sitting around alone or with just my gf in my dorm room will just not suffice.

Ah, the life of a college student.
My first Falcon Club membership was a b-day gift from my father, class of 1968. $50 is a good gift price from a family member, or for an x-mas gift as well. . . .

Niz, have you ever thought about investing in a flask? With its assistance, rum and coke's are quite easy to come by at games.

So are meetings with a disciplinary official.

Trust me.

I do take my flask in every once in a while, but I'm not a big fan of liquor drinking, nor can I afford any fire water usually. Drinking beer allows you to keep your wits about you and usually stay off certain people's perverbial radar screens.

I realize some people don't like the cold, but I thrive on it. I'm at my best from Halloween through February. I'd love to party out front on the ice arena before games. I just need a few brave soles to join me.

Sorry Niz. I'm brave, but not that brave. Next year I'll buy you a beer at Quarters.

Did any of you at the game happen to notice a rather large young player with future enforcer written all over his style of play....
