TG, it could be just that he doesn't know what uniform they might wear. Granted, it's either white or red, but still. I have enough faith in Brandon to know that he most likely has been watching tape. (I just hope that he's been watching our own tapes as well!! )
once again...

Thanks for the advice, Mom. I was merely pointing out to Rollo that it was possible to still not be on Brandon's side but appreciate the quote nonetheless. You don't like my thoughts? Don't read 'em. I sincerely doubt you would be alone.

I wasn't calling anyone out specifically with my reply. I just find it funny how we as fans ride a rollacoaster of emotions. One day some people want to burn our coach at the stake...and the next day others are getting his bust ready for Canton.

That's the nature of the beast in athletics. Coaching at the D1 level is not always easy and that's why people get paid well to do so. Putting up with us fans and Internet message boards like this is just part of their job.

I am not ready to give up on Brandon yet. And, I don't know if Brandon is the long-term answer either. Only time will tell.

Coach brandon also said on 1460 the Fan this week that he is bringin in a team with no leadership and basically has no shot at winning.

he obviously didnt say it in those words but to my and chris speilman and chris hooly's interpretation thats what he was implying.

way to "get in their heads"

I don't see how this remotely "gets in the head" of the #1 team in the country??? A Pop Warner team wouldn't be intimidated by such illogical showmanship. Perhaps, Brandon should have used his brash attitude calling plays 3-4 years ago on that ill-fated day when he didn't have enough confidence to call our offense in the first half and then put in a DB to catch hail mary's.

I would think that after that masterful performance and the humbling experience of two weeks ago that he wouldn't be so eager to allow his mouth to write a check that his playcalling can't cash.

Trust me, this "quote" is a minor blip on the radar screen if it made it at all.

Well, if we need to add any fuel to the fire, I am watching Buckeye Blitz on Sportstime Ohio. The four hosts are basically running down BGSU saying that essentially Ohio State has a bye week. They said that BGSU got tore up by Kent and barely beat Buffalo "the worst team in division I-A."

I am really fired up for this game! I hope BG marches down the field and scores right away. It will take a miracle for us to pull this one out, but I hope we can remind the Suckeyes that this isn't a bye week!

I still don't get that one. To my knowledge JP had never played a down on offense before that, and then they throw him in there at the most crucial point.

I think Brandon is trying to take some of the pressure off of his players. There is already so much hype that we're playing osu in my opinion this is no big deal. He is trying to make it clear to the players that it's just another team no matter what the fans say.

I think the players are thinking the same thing. I read the press conference quotes last night here is a sample. It's also my sig.
