I wonder if it was an inside job, too.
Either BGSU students (not many outside of BG would know about the rock) or someone affiliated with the football team doing it to "rile up the troops." I believe Al Groh did this a year or two ago, with the "V" on the field being turned into "VT."

Yeah I just walked past it after my first class and I didnt get a real close look at the rock but it was half and half one side silver and the other red with random writing on it that I couldnt make out from where I was walking, I am going to have to agree with the rest and say it was most likely a BGSU student.

I'm certain that the rock won't remain that way for very long...it most likely won't last into the night with that ugly color sceme on it.

That's an Ohio State flag? I thought it was just a big Zero flag. Thought the guy was a fan of placeholders.

The only way we as fans can respond is to throw cinder blocks threw the windshields of cars parked on west campus.

And that would exclude BGSU students how exactly?

I have better things to do than to drive to that POS campus and paint a gay spirit rock.

Well, Ohio State fans normally respond to things by burning couches in the street, so maybe this would be progress!

Uh, again with the spelling. They said the rock was painted red and GRAY.

Honestly, it's a pretty sweet paint job, the silver was real bright and the block O was pretty nice. It said something about troy smith for heisman i believe.
I would bet money that it was someone from the school that did it, i can't imagine anyone from Ohio st. would drive all the way up here to paint the rock of a MAC team...just a guess.
