It hadn't been repainted as of about 730 tonight....earlier in teh day someon threw some white paint or somethin gover the top of the block O, but you could still see it, not sure if they just ran out of paint or what.

It's pathetic that our school pride has come to this, call this an OSU north branch and lose all the BG affiliation. The OSU bandwagon is spilling over the top in BG now that they're the #1 team in the nation. I've been here for 5 years, and in no other Fall have I seen this many OSU fans around town/campus. It's strange isn't it? Even in the national championship year where they beat my Miami Hurricanes, there wasn't this sudden flock of Buckeyes here in BG.

Is it also not out-of-the-ordinary that so many people have the new OSU jerseys? I understand that some people would like to keep updated with their apparel, but how many people do you see on the weekends around town with new Smith/Ginn jerseys? Updating their apparel or just jumping on the bandwagon? I know what my opinion is...

As for the rock, it was a BG student. Why would someone drive almost 2 hours from C-Bus to paint a rock of a non-rival school who isn't being given any chance of knocking off the #1 team on Saturday? It's not worth the gas even at under $2 a gallon. I wish someone would turn in the piece of s**t who did it, b/c it's pathetic to think that one of our own would disgrace the school in that way.

Here's to a good game Saturday, win or lose, represent BG football well...if you go to BG and are going down to C-Bus, wear your brown and orange, because i'm sure that many of our fellow Falcons will be packing their scarlet and gray jerseys over their own school colors.

I would have to agree. Have someone out there to repaint it as soon as morning comes and then be done with it. It becomes a story by them leaving it up.
