Hockey Jersey

Post by Peregrinner »

I'm hoping to get one of the orange hockey sweaters soon, but at the moment I just have one of the cheaper white mesh ones. In the meantime though, I was thinking about getting a name/number put on it. I know I could probably some really cheap press-on numbers, but I'm pretty sure that's gonna look crappy.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to go to get numbers put on, or would you even recommend doing it? I haven't seen any of the ones like I have with a number on it, so I'm not sure how it would look.
For the record, this is the jersey I have:

I'd leave it blank. Always a safe bet, especially if you're going to be getting a new one soon.

Just my thoughts, stick with safe.

Some of the older folks might be more of a help here, but with the style that sweater is, you could probably get it done with Blake or Emerson's number, which would be damn cool and timeless.

I had thought about that, but I'd really like to have a jersey with #11 on it. I guess I should probably figure out which one I want to do.
In the end, I'll probably end up getting a name/number put on the white jersey and getting the orange one anyway.

Wizard Graphics in downtown BG. I think it cost me $25 to have my name put on mine in 1994. It was done in two colors (brown outlined in orange) and is 9 letters long. Mine's an actual game worn jersey though.

I'm still really pissed that I couldn't get a name/number sewn on my sweater. The people at Wizard, especially, were a bunch of jerks.

Is it really? I was just being a dick. Though Crombeen was the first (and possibly only) #11 I could think of...

Your #11 is one of the best players to play for BG.

He scored 100+ points in his four years, I can't complain. :)
