No, its in the shed out back. I don't have a basement.

Come along Sherman. On our next Improbable History trip, we'll attend a game in which falconboy showed up at the start of the first quater.

FB, nobody cares whether you're there at halftime or the beginning of the game, it is your money and you are perfectly fine spending it however you see fit.

That being said, I am of the belief that if you are not coming to games (and if you show up at halftime you may as well not be), you forfeit your right to bitch about attendance. You're either part of the problem or part of the solution, and if you're showing up after half time you're part of the problem, sorry...

I'm going to have to agree here. FB, if you're not even going to bother showing up when it actually matters for the attendance numbers, please stop posting and commenting about the attendance woes. The only way you have a right to say a word about it is if you're actually doing something to help, not robbing the Athletic Department of money and numbers for the NCAA.
Besides, as has already been said, we're more than fine for the season average. I seriously doubt we'll get less than 9K for the remaining games. There are plenty of people around here who actually are willing to show up at the beginning, support the team and help out the numbers, unlike yourself.

Huh that's funny, I hear Mark Foley had a Pet Boy named Sherman on his desk.

FB,

Will you PLEASE stop posting your inane comments about:
1. The size of our D-line / football team in general
2. The overall weakness of our sports teams, especially FB and BB
3. The lack of attendance, when YOU don't bother to show up until halftime, if at all, to save yourself a few bucks.

In fact, why don't you just stop posting so that most of us wouldn't find the need to respond to a negative, irritating human being! ( I'm giving the Human Being part of that as a guess!)

You are right we our opinionated, and that is fine. However for the rest of us, our actions don't contradict our opinions, and we don't complain about problems we are a part of.

Your opinion is the equivalent of someone who complains that Bush is doing a bad job as president, but you never voted.

Until you're willing to help towards a solution, don't complain about the problem.

Mind you that I wasn't complaining about the attendance , but rather was just stating what I think it will be given the weather and what not.

eeewwww. Calling for rain/snow mix on Friday night.

However, partly cloudy and a high of 53 on Saturday. Not too shabby.
Perfect weather to help us not get to our 15,000 average attendace for the year. Oh were' not gettin either you can pretty much bank on it the way our luck with weather has been. Looks like the 30k for the Wisky game will all be for naught. :(
We only need 18,000 more fans this season to reach the 15,000 average. You don't think that we could come up with that on homecoming weekend?

We have had below 10K only once in the last 4 seasons: 10/29/05 vs. Akron, 9,608

The last time we had less than 9k Gary Blackney was in the process of resigning- 10/7/00 vs. Akron, 8,008.
Interestingly enough, both of those games were against Akron, the worst school in the MAC for football attendance, both home and away. Since they aren't on our schedule of home games this season, we have nothing to worry about.
