Sitting Here Trying To Remember...

the name of any Eastern Michigan football player other than Charlie Batch....ever!

I guess that says a lot about their program.

If yu wanna go hoops there will be a long list. My first college game ever we played Eastern-they were up 20+ at half-Gervin got kicked out of the game in the second half and we won by about 12. I think he then quit a few games later. Loads of talent but a real head case then.

Banaszek was a beast-I think Eastern was in the MAC by then -Gervin never played in the MAC.

Marcus Kennedy designed his own goggles!

I met Gervin at the BG-EMU game February of 1997, Jay and Tone's senior seasons. The Iceman was in town to have his jersey number retired among the rafters of EMU's old fieldhouse..

Wasn't Gervin from Central Michigan?

Central had a run of NBA players form the mid to late '70s, Dan Roundfield, Jim McElroy and Ben Poquette. Dan Marjle also went to CMU in the 80s.
