Predictions: BGSU vs. EMU

Post by thewebboy »

Well I guess I'll start up a prediction thread for this Saturday's game.

I think coming off a respectable performance down in Columbus, our guys will be focused and ready to defend our turf after an embarrassing loss to Kent State. I see us opening up the O and passing downfield a lot more.

I'll go with...

I refuse to believe that BG cannot easiy handle EMU at home, considering how bad EMU played @ ULL.

I like the feel of this team right now. We come out smoking and put the smack down on EMU big time!!

I'm hoping for an old-school blowout like I became accustomed to seeing my freshman year.

BGSU 42
EMU 10

The defense comes out firing and holds EMU without a score for the entire first half. The offense clicks and FB runs for a TD and catches for one.

BG by 10.

The growth continues but we still play poorly at home - for whatever reason.

Defense establishes itself as the strength of this team.

We need to step up and show that we can play well inside the Doyt. What better opponent than lowly EMU to do that. If the defense plays well Saturday, EMU might not even sniff the end zone, and offensively, all we have to do is run the ball all day against their 117th ranked rush defense.
If we come to play, this one could get ugly early.

This one wont be even close...I think that we have come together as a team the past 2 weeks and are ready to start dominating in conference low-lifes again.

the score will be the same as last week but we will be the ones scoring than the opponent.

BG 28
EMU 13

EMU's defense has been up and down this year, so I don't think a blowout is in order, but I do feel we take a quick lead and don't look back.

BG - 28
EMU - 6

I think the D has shown some good things the last two weeks and will be ready to play once again. If this team is not ready to play Saturday, there is a problem...a major problem. They need to come out and prove something to the fans after the last performance at home.
