I'm shutting things down here and heading home for Noah's practice, then final prep for our trip. No more Internet until next Wednesday (don't ask, long story). I must say, I can't imagine being more keyed up for a road trip!
Here's part of an e-mail I shared with Grant today ...
"Today is Noah's birthday and his sister got him a big bag of Tootsie Rolls, a Tootsie Roll pillow and a Tootsie Roll blanket for the trip!
Noah's comment on the Tootsie Rolls - 'A lot of these are going to get thrown on Saturday.' "

I want to thank Grant, Chris and all the Project Falcon contributors; this trip is an unexpected treat that couldn't have come at a better time for Noah (for a number of reasons). I know he's really looking forward to seeing some friendly faces. He wore his BGSU jersey for picture day Wednesday and pulled out is "Heisman Hopeful #5" t-shirt for school today; he also announced to his mother that, after school, he wanted to start packing immediately.
We hit the road at 7:30 a.m. Friday, catching the first of two trains to the airport. Of course, I'm wondering if we'll get any sleep! We hope to be in the tailgate area Saturday before 11 a.m. (our gameday routine is pretty simple - breakfast, bookstore, grocery store, Doyt) and are very much looking forward to hanging out with everyone.
And as for the game, well, I hope everyone is ready to make as much noise as we are. Because for all the stuff we're bringing home from BG, we absolutely intend on NOT having our voices when we return to Philly!
Ay Ziggy Zoomba!
