Leak really tried to be a hero. Urban has had some trouble on the road especially in big games.

Oh yeah and this new clock rule stinks at the end of the game.

As good as Urban's special teams usually are, they lost him the game tonight.

With USC tied at home with ASU (0-2 PAC-10 ASU), combined with Michigan's dominance of Penn State, does Michigan jump to #2 in the polls tomorrow?

Their defense says yes. (!!!!) Their offense has been efficient, but not as dominant as I thought it might have been today. The defense lived in Morelli's jock tonight.

I guess Michigan's O took a blow with its biggest offensive threat gone. Penn State isn't an easy place play either. I think even if USC wins Michigan will be No. 2.

Losing Super Mario hurt the O tonight. There were 3 deep balls that would have been easy TD's for Manningham. Breaston just can't pull away like him. Arrington stepped up nicely on the skinny posts though.

Penn State is at -21 yards rushing. 128 overall. Winning 17-3 in a night game in Happy Valley is not an easy thing to do. Especially without 40% of your touchdowns on the field.

Phew. Always good to get out of a night game in Happy Valley with a win.

With Iowa looking like crap, there's 3 little girls and a puppy standing between undefeated #1 vs. undefeated #2 in Columbus. Game of the Millenium?

Is it just me, or does USC play every game at home?

To answer my own question, Michigan moves to #2 in the AP poll, and #3 in the coaches poll. USC is projected to be #2 in the BCS standings. Of course, none of it matters since UM and OSU play each other. There's no way USC goes undefeated, and I think Louisville or Rutgers will pick off WVU, so who knows who will play the winner of The Game.*

*All predicated on Michigan trouncing Iowa Saturday.

so FSU, Miami, and vt aren't in the top 25 now, but Rutgers and Wake Forest are...

interesting.
