just another reason to try to keep more of 'kelly's tigers' on the board. Of course his own daughter is on the board and it was still late getting in!

I love seeing my band friends once a year... but every year, yeah, it does dwindle. maybe after I win the lottery (hey, I'm already rock bottom! ;) ) I'll host a big buffo get-together at the farm and maybe more alums will show up! ;)

maybe if I got a few sheep....

After this morning's rehearsal with the Alumni Band, it looks to be a great day. It was nice seeing all of you alumni that could show up!! With the weather forecast looking as good as it does, hopefully the majority of you guys will stick around!!

since I haven't seen anyone post anything about it yet, as a member of the FMB, I would like to say that all of the FMB Alumni that showed up today did a great job! Oh, and RUIT, I still love those Orange Converse shoes you wear every year!!

And even for those who didn't actually see it (like me...), he came over and announced the fact to the alumni band.

I just got home after a long drive back from the game. We had a blast as usual. The FMB sounded fantastic today! A couple of us who come back every year were talking about how this was the best sounding band from top to bottom in YEARS! The band improved greatly during Carol's first year. Alot of times a new director will pull out all the stops to impress during their first year, and then have a hard time maintaining or continuing to improve. That sure doesn't seem to be the case here. The band has been getting stronger every year.

The alumni band was a little small this year. There were around 67 names on the list of people who had registered. Hopefully we can find ways to get the numbers back up.

It was good seeing everyone and I look forward to getting up there again for the basketball and hockey games.

Yup. I crashed. My wife got a picture of me mid-fall. Beautiful. She didn't even have the camera on the "action" setting so it was as slow motion as it felt.

I nailed the back bend in the Doyt, however. I hoped the end zone cheerleaders enjoyed the view of my.......mace. :-D

I thoroughly enjoyed watching you "crash" during rehearsal, I almost screwed up the National Anthem it was so funny! But it was pretty cool that you nailed it in the Doyt, great job!!
Also Chase, it was good to see that you made it! Even if it was cutting it close!
I hope to see the majority of you Alumni next year plus more!! I'll still be marching as a Maggot!! 8)
