This should be a great game. With Eastern taking them to OT, I think this could be a very even match. I think it is going to be a barn burner that comes down to the last possession.
When ya put it like that, Spart, it makes me think again about going!
GO BG!

All of the Cuyahoga County Buffalo Wild Wings from Rockey River to Strongsville will have the game on, even the Avon Lake BW3 will have the game on. I called the Blue Moose in Parma, the owner was trying to get ESPN-U. Now watch the seventh game of the playoff will be on at the same time. Please tell other students and alumni to show up that these sites across the nation not just Ohio Showthat Bgsu also has a following and root the Falcon's to a VICTORY!!! THANKS
robdupont wrote:BG student and Alumni, has of 4 o'clock today the 16. Jed's will be carring the BG Game with CMU will be on at Jed's in Bowling Green. Direct TV will carry ESPN-U channel 603. BW3 in BG will also have the game on. Mr BEEF's in Perrysburg and Jed's at 2531 Reynolds Road will have the game on. Check with your Local watering Hole and post who is showing the game so we all that want to see it can. Go BG BEAT CMU!!!!!
So is it confirmed to be on in BG at both BW3 and Jeds? I just want to be sure before I drive down there. Somebody already call them or should I make a few calls tonight?
I also heard the Fricker's in BG will have the game. They carry ESPNU. I was really hoping a local Bowling Green or Toledo station was gonna pick the game up on regular TV but I guess with the thursday night primetime lineup being so important to the networks and keeping schedules it will be off to the bars for me. Unfortunately I still have about 2 weeks till hit that magical 21. Hey Niz I'll prolly come to Jed's and meet up with you guys.

Other stations are not allowed to pick up this game. ESPNU is an actual station, like ESPN or ESPN2. It is not part of ESPN+ or the GamePlan. As a result the game will air on ESPNU & no other stations have an option of picking the game up.
Just remember the Buckeyes are on ESPNU this weekend as well, and they're in the same boat. No other stations are allowed to pick the game up...how do you think the local affiliates feel about that? Trust me, if they could pick up a game they'd pick up the OSU game, and they aren't going to be able to do that...clearly they aren't allowed to pick up the BG game either.

And I like the idea of Corey making a one handed grab in the end zone with 4 seconds left lifting BG to the victory.

Awesome, although I asked Dr. Hayward about giving the band Thursday evening's rehearsal off and she's actually considering doing it. If that does happen I'll most likely be going up to Mount Pleasant to see the game live. If you'd like to take the trip with us I'm sure we could find room in one of our cars. We'll be coming back that night so no need to worry about missing classes Friday or paying for a hotel.

Hey, Niz, if we don't have rehearsal tomorrow, mind if I go along with you? I just need to know how much you want for gas and how much student tickets are for the game.
Jed's it is! We are going to have some sort of rehearsal, that makes it really difficult to get three hours North for the game so a bunch of us will most likely meet up at Jed's. See you all there.

The first (only?) time I drove to CMU (1993), they told us it would be a 5 hour drive. Got there in about 2:30. (Then again, who'd have known that mom's minivan would get up to 90 so quickly? )
Oh yeah, and CMU beat us 17-15 for the first MAC loss of the Gary Blackney era. But we got 'em back the next year...uhhh... in '96!!!

Even taking 2:30, we probably won't get out until 5:00. If we should happen to make it out by 4:30 then there's a chance, but thats still pushing it. Plus I'm not sure how many more speeding tickets the state will afford me should I get caught again...

Sounds good Niz. I'll probably leave my 6:00 class early and hopefully get there around 7:30. Save me a spot.
