Predictions: BGSU vs. CMU

Post by thewebboy »

I'll start it up again this week.

I've had this one circled on my schedule ever since the Kent loss. It's a make or break game if we're going to have any shot at a bowl or championship game. CMU has been on a roll as of late, yet we've been playing our best games on the road this year. I think it's a coin flip, could go either way.

Were gonna have to score alot to get the win in this one. I think that AT finally shows why he was a highly touted QB outta high school and throws well in this one.

Big Bird wins this one on a last second field goal from about 40yards out. AT throws around 40 passes completing a very high percent. Bullock rushes for 2 TDs. Defense forces turnover to setup last minute winning drive. Enough detail yet? :D

Central by 2 TD's.

Central establishes the run then exposes our young secondary with a more balanced attack.

Our offensive play calling breaks the mold........but too late for it to matter.

I have a feeling this will be a lot like the Ohio U. game, I think our defense shuts down LeFevour and his running abilities and the offense controls and manages the clock.

He's a very accurate passer with a good arm. That freshman receiver, last name is Anderson, is a big-time player too. They're beatable if you are not Toledo  but they are gonna be tough to beat. Bazuin could give your offense headaches too.

At CMU, I can't see BG winning big. I can see you pulling off a close victory or losing a close game, but not winning big. They are much better than Ohio. They nearly beat Boston College, who recently beat VaTech 22-3. They played Michigan fairly tough and they played Kentucky tough despite not having a couple of key defensive players.....like Bazuin who was out with an injury in that game.

Need more input. So that it sounds like I am making a considered and reasoned estimate, does anyone know what the "line" on this game is?
