At the risk of sounding like a total moron (but how would that be any different!), word.BGDrew wrote:By why order that when you can get some Tequila?
I don't know if it was just a regional 'brand' or what, but when I went to Teotihuacan we saw a demonstration of the uses of the plant from which they make Tequila and Mezcal, and I sampled some D'Reyes Tequila. If you get a chance, give it a shot (and forgive me if it's some well-known brand, alcohol is most certainly not my specialty). It's flavored with almond and honey, and it is delicious. Granted, it's the only alcohol I've ever actually tasted, but I liked it.

"Ocho"
I believe that ocho has exclusive rights to all and only dodgeball competition. There are Spanish subtitiles however.

I knew it was something like that, but it turns out it's a good thing I didn't try to spell it. I would have looked like a fool saying. "Yeah, it's totally called the Agabe." 3 years of Spanish and a trip to Mexico and I still can't sound out the spelling of Spanish words.ZiggyZoomba wrote:That plant is called agave (Agave tequilana)

There were quite a few Agave plants around my apartment in Arizona. Wish I'd thought of this then - can you make tequila in your bathtub?

Yes. Mix it with two parts kerosene and one part transmission fluid.Bleeding Orange wrote:There were quite a few Agave plants around my apartment in Arizona. Wish I'd thought of this then - can you make tequila in your bathtub?

I haven't the slightest clue about how one might go about that, but if you're ever in need of two kinds of alcohol, stomach medicine, paper or a needle and thread, you're got all of it right there in that plant.Bleeding Orange wrote:There were quite a few Agave plants around my apartment in Arizona. I wouldn't try it. He's probably allergic to it.
