Doing okay for underclassmen, but I still had really hoped for more....

Look at the penalties.....

We are killing them in time of possession. Offensively we have nice number, it seems that our drives keep stalling when we cross the 35-40 yrd line game after game.....

Here's a positive - Rojas just booted a 57 yard punt!

Since on 3rd and 17 all we could get is a 3 yd pass to Corey Partridge....

When the team fought back to close within 3, I complimented the coaches for keeping them into the game (this was in the chat room).

THEN, they basically do everything wrong from a game plan and play calling standpoint. I spoke too soon.

wow, after clicking on some of the player's names, i just discoverd that AT and I share the same birthday! Now if he only made better decisions with the football....

Well said. How can they be so on at various points and at other times it's like they're trying to lose? It seemed the last few years, that the coaching staff knew offense inside and out. This year, it seems like they sometimes don't have a clue as to what play to call, so they go with either a QB option/sweep or a draw.

Hopefully somebody will at least win something at the casino so the trip to Mt.Pleasant isn't a total loss!

It was happening last year as well. Remember the Kent game?

Same freaking running play over and over again. It was surreal.

We're all right. We just didn't make any BIG plays, and they made 4 or 5. We did a nice job controlling the ball and the clock, but had some stupid penalities, and other mental errors. Turner was ice cold to start, CP had another drop, Ruiz had a big holding call and then tack on an 88 yard TD and that was it. I think we are ok, we just need to believe we can win these games because we SHOULD win these games!

Have you ever seen this coaching staff make the right decisions at halftime? I swear we make no adjustments. Game in and game out, we seem to get dominated in the third and fourth quarter. That tells me we are getting out-coached. Plain and simple. I think hammb will back me up on this one.

I think the point is that the way GB and Stud are calling plays, the offense cannot provide a "big play". Plus, I am not sure, right now, this team has the players to provide those big plays. It doesn't look like it will come from the passing game and Bullock is still young.

If AT develops and gets 100% healthy, this team could be scary good next year and in 2008.

I think you nailed it pretty good 98. We keep calling frickin WR screens that aren't working. How about a screen to the RB? How about giving Winovich a carry here or there just to show the defense something different?

And our running game will never bust a big one. Yes it works good to create 5-8 yard gains because the defense is spread out. But that also keeps you from going all the way because there are so many DBs that can't be blocked.

I'm not ready to pack it all in for the rest of this season, but I will say that the next years could and ultimately SHOULD be very good (that's not a 'should' of possibility, it's of responsibility).

AT will not take this team anywhere. Bullock carried the offensive side of the game on his shoulders. Our receivers were helpless trying to catch those sailing wobbly passes all night.

And why exactly did we decide to punt from CMU's 30 yard line? Kicking a field goal would have been the right call at the time, however after watching that one get blocked a few minutes later I have no idea what I would've called there.

The defense was amazing after the first series and until the offense failed to score on their second to last drive. It almost seemed like after they drove all that way just to fail at a 7-yard field goal that the D decided that it was a lost cause and quit playing. The talent is there, I just can't wait for these guys to grow up now.

You forget my rants from last year? They were very particular to the "failure to learn from mistakes" and "no adjustments."

I'll still stand behind my comments I'm just not advertising.
