OU 38
BG 20

At least for now this is my prediction. I may modify it in a couple weeks after seeing the BG scrimmage.

I will be completely impressed if OU makes this game ugly in the first half. I don't think our guys will be intimidated one bit, but I think the comparative lack of depth, especially if it is really hot, will hurt us. I think this is a game that we can win with a couple breaks early to take the crowd out of the game and a solid running game. If the line can open up some holes for P.J., B.J., and Raishaun and we can win the time of possession game, I think our chances are fair. I would give almost anything to watch the SportsCenter highlights on September 5th and see BG whip OU and stun the nation. I just think we'll have to be very fortunate to have that become reality.

I said 35-21 sooners on your message board and I will stick to it. If we had a game under out belts heading in there like we did against purdue, I would predict a closer game.

I am just hoping our secondary holds up (and we can get some pressure on White) - everyone else will be fine

I really don't see OU putting 50 on us.

I don't foresee a blowout. And I think we have a chance to win.

I think Oklahoma just has too much for the Falcons to contend with...

OU 45
BG 20

And I'll take the 31 points Vegas is giving me and run all the way to the bank.

I don't see a true blowout. I would love to see the Falcons win, but we would have to play a perfect game. i don't see that probable with a new field marshal.

*Yes, I know, I used the pronoun "I" quite a bit in my previous paragraph.

That would be the best day in MAC history, I bet.

I feel like Miami over Michigan is a little more likely...Stoops usually has his teams playing their best at the beginning of the year. Michigan pretty frequently loses OOC.

Here's hoping for Two MAC birds to slay our respective giants in 4 weeks

Why stop there on September 4th/5th?

Kent St. 28 Iowa 13
Akron 38 Penn St. 31
NIU 24 Maryland 20
Toledo 42 Minnesota 31

The MAC's top-tier teams have the chance to prove how good they are that weekend. Hopefully it can be another MAC-upset September weekend.

I also think that Miami has a good shot at U of M. Playing a "warm-up" game against Indiana State the week before should be really helpful to the Redhawks.

Oklahoma 45
Bowling Green 28

It's close..ie within a touchdown at half, and then Oklahoma's depth widens the gap a bit in the second half.

p.s. Is maddog on this board too? He's fun to talk with :D
