Classy? I think not.

Post by Kaleena08 »

I would just like to say that CMU had some of the rudest students I have seen. Not saying that BG's students are always angels, but they were just trying to start trouble with the players. The ones that were around us were told a few times to leave until one was escorted out. One kid magically got a cup of water thrown in his face by someone (not me), but then again it was raining...

Kaleena, walking into the stadium last night I had many people shouting at me to go back to Ohio as I passed the student section. That I didn't mind seeing as we were in Michigan and all the schools up there do that. After the game though, I was on the field near the Central Michigan C at midfield, and somebody yells to me, "haha, you go to big gay sex university! ******!" That comment really pissed me off. I felt like jumping on the C a few times for that. And there were these people running up and down along the railings of the BG side of the field mocking our players, shouting in the ears of some of our fans. The group of 4 female students sitting to the right of where I was at midfield nearly got into a tussle with a few of them in the 3rd quarter. A few students even went so far as to insult Anthony Turner and his mom, who was sitting in the stands behind us. She was D'ed, so there was no telling what would have happened if things got out of hand...

Yeah, CMUs student fans were rowdy, loud, and all around pretty nasty people. They fail.

That sounds consistent with past experiences others have shared about CMU.

Same type of things I dealed with when I was there a few years back. WMU was no treat either. Only Michigan school I have never had a problem at is EMU and that is because we outnumbered them.

Yep, that sounds about right. I've been up there twice for BG games and those students are, by far, the worst in the MAC. I've had worse experiences there than Marshall, UT, WMU and OSU combined. We won both games so that shut them up. They were even talking trash to the Freaklings in 2004...and the Freaklings let them have it. LOL! The language is unreal. Too bad cuz CMU is a nice facility...

CMU is full of nothing but rude fans, faculty, staff, and coaches who think their $#%! does not stink. The whole place should be turned into a nuclear testing facility so it can do some good. I would rather be at a game at UT before one at CMU!!!!!

So, if I am to read into your post, the town of Mount Pleasant would be a misnomer?

I'm not sure who came up with d'ed, but its a term for saying that somebody is under the influence of alcohol. In dormspeak, we wouldn't say that somebody is drunk, we would say that they are d'ed.

No. I'm 22 and have never heard of it. Some kid who thinks he's cool made it up. Guaranteed.
